Write protection:

 

Select if changes on SnippetCenter's data are allowed:

 

Enable write protection: Enables write protection, so that snippets can only be displayed.

 

Password to remove write protection: To avoid that one can disable the write protection simply by unselecting the former option you can protect changes on this set of options by querying a password. The password is asked when applying changes here on this dialog or when changing write protection using the menu.

 

Password: The password is required to have at least three letters and needs to be entered twice for security.
