Search Options:
There are several options for a finer search. To display this options click on word 'Search Options'. This opens an options dialog below the word.
Full text search:
| • | If you don't want to search only the Information Fields of the Snippets, but also want to search the Snippets' contents, check the Full Text Search option. |
| • | The full text search can only be performed on Snippets that are qualified for searching their contents. These are: Text Snippets, Code Snippets, Diagram Snippets, Notes, Internet URLs, File Links (path and filename only) and Contacts. |
| • | Depending on the type of the Snippets, some very common words (i.e. begin in Code Snippets) are excluded from the full text search. |
| • | If the search for the exact search words does not return any result, the search will automatically be repeated, searching for words that only start with the search words. |
Exact words:
| • | To find all Snippets that contains the exact word enable this options. Otherwise all Snippets that contains text that starts with the search word are found. |
Max. results:
| • | Limits the number of found Snippets. |
